Welcome to my website
I am Ali Dalir, born
in 1974 in Iran, Tehran from a family originally from
Azerbaijan of Iran. I am happily married with the best
lady ever. I am a Geologist and I have been practicing
geology since 1999. I have received my B.Sc. in
Geology from University of Tehran in 1997 and my M.Sc.
in Sedimentology and Sedimentary Petrology from the same
university in 2003. I have worked as a geologist for 2
construction and a consulting companies in the word of
Civil Engineering. Then, I moved to oil industry with
Schlumberger which
fitted more with my interests.
I have started a new
Master's in Petroleum Geology, Reservoir
Characterization since January 2007 at the University of
Calgary to fortify my
knowledge in Geology with "Must Know"s of Geophysics and
Reservoir Engineering.
I believe on peace,
change and life. I have been open to big changes
throughout my life and I always think of it as a gift.
The world that doesn't change, doesn't belong to live
people!
